osbytes — short for open source bytes — is a group of builders who enjoy contributing to open source: upstream fixes, docs, maintenance on projects we rely on, and sometimes repos of our own when they’re useful to others. This site is the front door: org activity, what we’re working on, and notes from the team.
What lives here
The home page surfaces an aggregate of org activity, fed live by GitHub. The blog is short-form writing from members and the occasional roundup. The projects list is the same set of repositories that show up on github.com/osbytes — not a curated marketing wall.
How we work
We’re not trying to spell out org-wide development practices here—different people and projects solve problems their own way.
What ties us together is that we like giving back to the ecosystems we build on: patches, reviews, issue triage, small releases, or keeping dependencies healthy when we can.
If something here catches your eye, our public repos and profiles live on GitHub.
What comes next
More contributions where they’re welcome. More writing. This site is meant to stay lightweight — pages you can finish in one sitting.
